I started taking a Korean cooking class for foreigners and I absolutely LOVE it! Our teacher is great and her studio is my dream apartment. I don't feel like explaining so I'll just post pictures.
Each class is 50,000 for 2 hours. There are usually about 3-5 students per class, which is great because then we all have a chance to cook and chop things up.
The first week, we made dolsot bibimbap (rice with beef and assorted veggies), bulgogi (marinated beef), and samgyetang (ginseng chicken). I would love to try to make these on my own, but each dish requires a lot of ingredients. I may try to make the samgyetang when I go back to Philly for my parents.
